About My Time
We design intelligent physical objects that express time in inventive ways. Choose from a line of different families of objects and collect a set that you love. They are built to become modular or used separately as unique timepieces.
The My Time Team
Born out of the Canadian Film Centre’s Interactive Art and Entertainment Program, My Time was created by GUSTA, consisting of:
Geneviève Godin – Art Director
Geneviève Godin has a diploma in graphic arts from Vieux Montreal College, and a degree in education in visual and media arts from the University of Quebec. Using a combination of fine arts and multimedia technologies, Geneviève has taught visual and video art at various institutional levels and exhibited throughout Canada.
Ulysses Castellanos – Creative Director
Ulysses Castellanos is an artist and curator living and working in Toronto. He has a BFA from the University of Toronto. His art practice encompasses film, video, music, performance, painting, photography and sculpture-installation. Ulysses is interested in investigating the role of mass media and popular culture in defining the way in which people see and identify themselves.
Simone Maurice – Project Manager
Simone Maurice is has worn many hats in her career. This includes being a key team player in creating and hosting a dance instructional television series, and writing published articles. Simone is also a pioneer to virtual dance instruction, and maintains a keen interest in technology’s role in entertainment and interactive media.
Tristen Brown – User Experience Designer
Tristen Brown graduated from the Faculty of Music at the University of Toronto. He composes music for film, and keeps a drawing blog. He is especially interested in open source content.
Andrew Mallis – Technical Director
Andrew Mallis holds a Fine Arts degree from OCAD, where he was Student Union Chair, then Editor of the school paper. He has since been a magazine art director, museums graphics designer, illustrator, storyboard artist, and manager of web technologies. He currently operates the design studio Ideograph, pursues art-making, and is working on an internet start-up. Read more on his blog at http://andrewmallis.com
